Pandemiicera© is an interactive web experience that visualizes the history of pandemics through a minimalist and eerie lens. The project explores how societies have responded to global health crises, from the Spanish Flu to COVID-19, by highlighting the uncertainty, fear, and loss that accompany each outbreak. Rather than overwhelming users with dense data, the design emphasizes quiet tension—stark typography, negative space, and subdued visuals evoke the unsettling atmosphere of living through the unknown. This approach reflects a core concept: during pandemics, we often don’t realize we’re living through history until it’s behind us—if we’re lucky enough to look back.
